Soup Kitchen & Food Bank
- Every Wednesday we provide and serve soup at the local Soup Kitchen in the Friendship Centre. In this way, we try to meet some of the tangible needs of our community.
- We have a Food Bank box located in the foyer where you can put non-perishable food items that are gathered up each month and brought to the Food Bank
James Project
- This ministry helps to provide labour assistance to those who are unable to do projects with the resources available to them.
Operati
on Christmas Child (Shoeboxes)
- Every year at Christmas time we run our shoebox program
- You fill a shoebox full of small toys and clothes for children of different ages
- We collect your shoeboxes and pack them together and ship them to the ‘Samaritan’s Purse’ depot in Calgary where they sort and in turn ship to less fortunate children in various parts of the world
